An online dissemination event of the results of the ReAct research project on the 3rd age was held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The project entitled "The interaction of sustainability, resilience and social impact: The case of Elderly Care Units in Greece" was funded by the European Union for the two years 2023-2025 within the framework of the action of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation.
The project's milestones were presented by Professor Helen (Eleni) Salavou, the Scientific Director. Members of the research team, including Andreas Georgiou, Manos Sofikitis, and Xenia Mamakou, subsequently presented the results of the primary qualitative and quantitative research, as well as the toolkit that allows ECUs to compare their position in relation to the average of the sampled ECUs in terms of resilience, sustainability, and impact.
